Leading the console market with the Wii, and fresh off the release of the DSi handheld, Nintendo had just one, strange little piece of hardware to unveil at E3. So its keynote on Tuesday unsurprisingly focused on games, with new "Mario," "Metroid" and "Wii Fit" titles being among the highlights.

The PlayStation 3 gets motion controls, too
Highlights from Sony's E3 keynote presentation on Tuesday included camera-and-wand-based motion controls for the PlayStation 3, a new iteration of the PlayStation Portable, some new features for the PlayStation Network and games galore, including "God of War 3," a new "Final Fantasy" MMO and a new game from the creators of "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colossus."

E3: The Games of Monday (Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and more)
E3 doesn't technically begin until today (Tuesday), but that didn't stop some of the gaming industry's biggest companies from announcing several titles we can expect to play in 2009 and early 2010. Highlights include "Left 4 Dead 2," "Alan Wake," "Brutal Legend" and "The Beatles: Rock Band."

Microsoft's E3 keynote: Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm
In addition to its new, camera-based motion control, Project Natal, the Xbox 360's set to get integration with Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm. Plus, British users of the console will be able to stream a limited number of TV channels.

Microsoft confirms Xbox 360 motion controller
Microsoft sets the bar high for everyone else at E3, confirming that controllerless motion controls are coming to the Xbox 360, as well as integration with Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm. The company also used its E3 keynote to promote nearly a dozen games, some of them exclusive to the console.
